On April 11, Katrina Harrigan, Deputy Consul General of the Consulate General of Australia in Shanghai, led Karen Surmon, commercial consul and Yue Lu, senior commercial officer had a visit to Sumsoar Group and investigated the market in Yiwu. Xiaofen Dong ,regional director of the foreign affairs office of Yiwu, accompanied the investigation, senior management of Sumsoar Group gave a full introduction.

The consulate delegation first visited the lobby and sample room of Sumsoar Group to learn about the development history, main business of the company, and inquired in detail about popular categories of export trade products and marketing trends.

On the fifth floor reception room, the two sides had an in-depth discussion on the import and export business of the group company. Wenjun Wang, chairman of Sumsoar Group, Fang Fu,general manager of Yiwu Sumsoar trading co. LTD, Xiangfei Yang, general manager of Zhejiang Shuocheng logistics co., LTD,Xinping Bao, party branch secretary and chairman assistant of Sumsoar Group,Zhibin Li,business director of Zhejiang Shuocheng logistics co., LTD, attended the meeting.

Wenjun Wang extended a warm welcome to the consulate delegation,he also pointed out that the group has been deeply engaged in traditional import and export trade for more than 10 years and has a mature supporting system of cross-border supply chain.He hope to strengthen business ties with Australian enterprises, enrich import and export products through resource connection, and expand the international trade market through win-win cooperation.

Katrina Harrigan said that the ministry of commerce of the consulate will discuss specific measures to promote china-australia trade cooperation and build a communication bridge for Chinese and Australian businessmen.

After the discussion, the consulate delegation made a field visit to the market of Yiwu small commodity city in the first and fifth districts,and the bonded logistics center.
